Abstract :
This paper introduces the design and implementation of an embedded Web service framework, called ghttpd-based Web services framework that can be applied distributed computing and testing environments. The ghttpd-based Web services framework is develop in embedded Linux operating system and can be portable to most embedded system environment, such as Windows and VxWorks. The data representation of testing contents and command is based on XML/DTD, and the message is transmitted by HTTP or UDP that selected by the message type. The design supports remote process call that based on SOAP and supports an implementation-independent way for programs to communicate with each other in distributed testing environment.
