Abstract :
The Internet has been growing rapidly since the last decade. Measuring the Internet growth is a subject of interest in many countries. The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has defined a number of Internet indicators for measurement. However, due to the Internet´s organization and structure, there are very limited measures available on the Internet growth. Data and statistics are not easily accessible. This paper reports the internet growth in Thailand with collected data and statistics in different aspects. We present different indicators and approaches for measuring Internet growth in Thailand. Some indicators used are not defined in ITU´s Internet indicators. However, we show that reports of each indicator have different implication and it is useful to measure the Internet growth in various aspects.
