Abstract :
A model-eliciting activity (MEA) is a client-driven, open-ended problem designed to reveal students´ thinking through their development of a generalizable process to solve the problem. The incorporation of guided peer feedback during the iterative process of producing solutions to MEAs offers potential for improving the quality of student solution. Participants in this workshop will be introduced to MEAs through an interactive problem solving session. They will then explore assessment strategies and the use of guided peer feedback to raise the quality of student team responses to MEAs
