Abstract :
In order to make the power plug better security and controllability, a kind of elecontrol power plug is presented and developed based on infrared communication in the paper. The user not only can turn on or off the power, but also can set the time for power on/off according to his need through a remote controller. Moreover, the early-warning signal is sent before the power is turned off by the elecontrol power plug. The idea about realizing these functions is introduced in detail in the paper. It is proved by the experiment that the stable and reliable performance of the elecontrol power plug is good and its operation is convenient and simple. It not only can be used in the intelligent house, and also can be used in the field that the operator is not convenient to be close. The idea, realization method and achieved performance are introduced in detail in the paper.
