Abstract :
The characters of highway tunnel traffic are analyzed and the strategies of highway tunnel traffic control and guidance are established. The simulation system about highway tunnel traffic control and guidance are realized based on virtual reality technology and MultiGen Creator/Vega. The system can serve as a train flat on which people can learn about the operation management in highway tunnel traffic under normal condition, at the same time, it can simulate the process of the strategy in highway tunnel operation management. Especially, the emergency prepared plan is provided for highway tunnel administrators when emergency traffic incident or fire is happening.
