  • Abstract
    The percent change in the consumer price index (CPI) is one of the commonly used measures for estimating inflation and one of the most closely watched national economic statistics. A novel DGM (1, 1) model is proposed in this paper for the CPI´s prediction. A case study is used to demonstrate the procedure of the proposed method.
