The following topics are dealt with: characterization and modeling of BiCMOS logic for low-temperature operation, operation of GaAs MESFETs at cryogenic temperatures, the effect of the vertical electric field on freeze-out in MOS structures, low-temperature MOS device modeling, cryogenic MODFET power conversion, and a two-dimensional analytical model for the kink in nMOS transistors operating at liquid-helium temperatures
