Abstract :
This paper presents a proposed new method of vehicle to vehicle communication system by use of LASER BEAM and CORNER CUBE PRISM. Principle of vehicle to and from vehicle communication system by the laser and the corner cube is composed of; the first transmitting means for the laser beam which is scanned a plane on the route of vehicle. the second reflecting means or apparatuses on the vehicle to reflect the above scanned laser beam to the same incident angle. the third modulating means to modulate the above reflected or incident laser beam on the vehicle. the forth receiving means to accept and detect the modulated signal on the other vehicle to find the signal from the vehicle. Proposed system may be applicable to many kind of ground vehicles, such as automated carrier cart in factory (2 dimensional movement) as well as aircraft, missile, terrain vehicle (3 dimensional vehicle). Our experimental laser communication system demonstrates good results for the application.
