Abstract :
In order to resolve the reliable recognization and procession of ultrasonic signal in ultrasonic flowmeters, an ultrasonic signal recognization and processing method was put forward in this paper based on digital polarity correlated algorithm, and because there were multiple maximal values after polarity correlation, a modified digital polarity correlation algorithm was also put forward for this kind of polarity correlation in this paper. A 4 ultrasonic standard signal is selected to immune to the noise, In the meantime it helps to increase the computing speed. Through software programming and physical experimentation, the result was certified that the stability of ultrasonic transmission time´s measure value is less than 0.2 % and the measurement accuracy of experiment is up to 0.25%.
