            Abstract :
Ultrasonic detecting technique has the advantage of higher resolving power and lower cost, and it has become a common measure way in industry filed. The measurement accuracy of the ultrasonic zero point always determines the whole system performance; so many research has focus their attention on this issue. There the wavelet algorithm has been used to detect the zero point and the field-programmable gate arrays realized the algorithm, the experimentation results shows that this method can be a feasible way to detect the zero point.
