Abstract :
This paper has measured the wear data of engine cylinder in its whole lifetime in way of capacitance measure. Though this method we got accurate data. This paper analyzed the wear characteristic, causes and influence factors of cylinder, obtained the wear trend of cylinder along its working time, and determined the wear limit. Based on these, an artificial neural network model was set up to predict the lifetime of cylinder.
