Abstract :
Electronic medical systems have become a popular and necessary instrument to the healthcare community in the recent years. These systems however lack a key component: interoperability. The basis of this project was to create a cloud computing platform for the healthcare community that would be able to support the medical records of an entire country. After copious amounts of research, a prototype of such a system was created. Through this process we´ve learned about the complexities of creating a cloud solution for the healthcare community.
