Abstract :
The properties of conventional random and precision winding for winding machine are analyzed in this paper. A new design of computer control system for stage precision winding is proposed. This system with programmable computer controller (hereafter PCC) is introduced. It combines the advantages of the conventional winding, can be applied to high speed winding and off-winding. The proposed system has been applied. The results testing the performance of real setup show that the control deviation is accurate to within 0.2% and the rate of variation in winding speed is lower than 3%. It plays a key role in the process of staple fibre yarn or continuous filament production, and has many potential applications.
