Abstract :
The paper develops a measurement system for muzzle velocity and firing frequency based on virtual instrument technology. The procedure, method of implementation, and the hardware, software structures are put forward. An application example of small-arms system is carried out. The voltage signals produced by two infrared targets are acquired when bullet is thrilling through. The muzzle velocity and firing frequency are real-timely got. The experiment results fully prove that the system is reliable and practical.
