Abstract :
A robust fractional-order proportional integral (FOPI) controller is proposed to deal with the problems of higher bit error rate (BER) and network parameters changing frequently in wireless network. Firstly, based on the linearization of dynamic model which considers BER and the packet loss in wireless network, the FOPI algorithm was designed to control network congestion. Besides, the D-partition technique was applied to characterize the stability domain of the FOPI controller. Lastly, particle swarm algorithm (PSO) was used to determine the best parameters of FOPI controller. Simulation results show that FOPI has better robustness and excellent control performances.
