Abstract :
Evolution of Web services and orchestration languages like WS-BPEL has created the platform for powerful collaborative applications. Meaningful collaboration in a dynamic business environment entails the need for rapid deployment of Web and grid services, their orchestration into coordinated workflows, ability to discover services based on semantics of the services and business functionality. In this paper we propose an integrated framework CINWEGS (collaborative integrated Web and grid services) to facilitate a community of Web and grid service providers and consumers to dynamically deploy, compose, discover and invoke Web and grid services. The framework automates deployment and supports manual and automated composition of services. A reference implementation of the framework has been built using public domain software and has been customized to create a collaborative engineering portal to demonstrate the value of the framework to B2B communities using Web and grid services based applications.
