Abstract :
New and innovative solutions can be made making use of combinations of endpoint and network based services. The paper goes through three examples, and then analyzes the kind of tools, capabilities and API that may be needed to develop and realize these (and other) new services. The paper highlights that the choice between endpoint and network execution is more than a ´deployment decision´, because it also impacts the business model.
