Abstract :
A new voice-activated dialling scheme for automobile telephony was presented based on an improved voice/noise signal processing techniques. The so-called short dialling based on the alphabet became available by this development. A hardware was implemented on one board using one digital signal processor (DSP). The prototype hardware was evaluated with alphabets, digits, and some command words.
