Abstract :
This paper investigates the problem of design H∞ output feedback controller and network access assignment sequences of both input and output channels for the networked control systems (NCSs) which have insufficient communication channels to simultaneously accommodate all the sensors and actuators. The sensors and the actuators are supposed to operate independently with individual communication packets. To establish a promising scheduling policy regulating the allocation of the sensors and actuators access to the communication channels, we use a set of protocol sequences to model the allocation procedure. We design the protocol sequence for both sides that can preserve controllability and observability, respectively. The H∞ output feedback controller is designed for the NCSs when the outputs are measured by a set of protocol sequence with measurement noise. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the protocol sequence-based method.
