Abstract :
This paper highlights the reasons why we need more proactive approaches linking both strategic and technological challenges for evolution of 3G and even systems beyond 3G (B3G) systems and in which time period it may be deployed and finally what the new system after 3G is. From the previous experiences gained in 2G and 3G for wireless communications, it is obvious that both strategic and technological challenges play a significant role for the success of the future wireless systems.
