Abstract :
A novel 24GHz microstrip array antenna with 168 rectangular resonators is presented. Compared with the traditional 18×14 microstrip elements array, 84 elements may be reduced with same performance. The feeding network with Dolph-Chebyshev distribution is used for low side lob, and the side lobe of microstrip array antenna is less than -17 dB. The proposal design is confirmed by both simulation and measured results.
