Abstract :
The performance of a contention-based TDMA technique is studied in this paper. The frame structure of the time-axis is similar to that in [1]. The protocol proposed here is an active multiaccess technique and suitable for light traffic and medium high traffic. Poisson inputs are assumed in this paper. Performance analyses, both transient and steady-state, have been successfully completed. Results obtained include average queue length and average delay, etc. The validity of analyses is also verified by computer simulations.
