Abstract :
The essay introduces a high speed detection system for multiple-spindle chemical fabrics viscose filament. It utilizes the special cutter to clamp the bunch of viscose filaments, and uses the specialized shredder to produce the viscose filament slice. We design and produce the hemispherical controlled luminous LED light sources according to the slice characteristics, the light emitted by the light source passes through the filament slice, forming an image on CCD through the optical amplification. CCD transfers the captured image to the computer, segment the image of viscose filaments through digital image processing and give the result of detection after adhesion area separation and the region count. This system can detect 600 monofilaments at one time with 98% accuracy. The experiment proved that this system has advantages of high accuracy, fast detection and easy operation.
