A layered type holographic display

A projection type holographic display which projects an electronically generated holographic image and a display image as foreground and background images, respectively, to enhance visual effects, is introduced. This display allows displaying any size of holographic images and the holographic image with a volume floating on the background image will visually enhance the impression intended by the holographic image. The examples given inform that when the two images are properly combined, the holographic images can be looked more impressive and meaningful than the without the background.
