Abstract
This paper introduces the energy-saved principle and features of the dry-type semi-core reactor, gives loss value in comparison with that of the dry-type air core reactor with same type and specification, analyzes energy saved and social efficiency with dry type semi-core reactor in place of dry type air core reactor and provides reference for adoption of new technology and equipment with energy-saved features in the field of reactive compensation technology.
