Abstract :
Several researches have demonstrated that partially occluded objects may be imaged with help of 3-D imaging systems. Here, we formulate the partially occluded object recovery problem as a compressive sensing problem, where the sensing mechanism is based on the Fresnel transform that can be acquired by various holographic recording techniques. We show that a high resolution object can be reconstructed from its single hologram and discuss the influence of the occluding environment´s structure on the object´s reconstruction fidelity.
