Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows. The speed of regulation of active capacity in existing power systems is rather insignificant, and the opportunity of covering of fast throws of active capacity in power systems is limited by allowable fluctuations of frequency. To increase the electric power quality in a power systems we suggest the use of a rather cheap installation-fly wheel electromachine compensator of complete capacity. It consists of a fly wheel, electrogenerator and semiconductor converter of frequency. The installation allows for the decrease rotation frequency of a flywheel to 50%, to transfer 75% of flywheel stock energy. The calculations carried out on the mathematical model of the power system show the possibility of increasing the duration of energy feedback in a power system of approximately 30s. It will require updating of the constructive characteristics of the developed fly wheel units.
