Abstract :
The study aims to investigate computer use in China´s college English test (CET). By illustrating the development of computerized language testing, we discuss how computer technology is realized in CET. Then, by analyzing current situation of computer use in CET, we explore the aspects and extent to which computer technology is used. Lastly, we probe the problems arising from Internet-based CET and suggest the corresponding solutions, therefore, providing some insights for the computer application to China´s language testing.
