Abstract
The widespread availability of Web 2.0 to share contents using simple protocols like RSS presents opportunities for delivering spatial data over the Internet as well as small mobile devices. In this paper, an architectural solution has been developed where RSS can be enhanced to play the role of trusted third party supplying syndication and aggregation service that allow a safe authentication, sharing and visualization of SVG images. The enhanced architecture uses the JAAS API along with our developed role based authentication method.
