Abstract :
This paper presents a two-stage current feedback operational amplifier with a 148 dbΩ transimpedance gain and a rail-to-rail output voltage swing. The amplifier is actively compensated, but without adding extra components to the basic amplifier topology. Thus, the chip area and power consumption can be kept to a minimum. In addition, a maximum gain-bandwidth product of 90 MHz can be achieved with a DC power consumption of 6.5 mW.
