Abstract :
In this paper, the structure and feature of fuzzy logic controllers are described first, then a new type of the fuzzy PID (proportional-integral-derivative) controller is presented. The fuzzy PID controller has the simplest structure, but it has the nonlinear properties, which provide the fuzzy PID control system with a superior performance over the conventional PID control system. The fuzzy PID controller is used in the temperature control of the glass furnace. The online running results show that this project is rational and effective.
