Abstract
The traffic condition varies with the commuting route of each driver. The traffic condition when he goes to his office is different from that when he goes back home too. If the powerplant control of HEV can be adjusted according to the traffic condition of each driver, the fuel economy performance of HEV can be improved. Consequently, this research designed the powerplant control using an extremum seeking algorithm.
