Abstract :
Intelligent video surveillance system has good application prospect in security field, the detection, tracking and classification of target are key parts of the system. To achieve target detection, this paper applies Bayesian model for tracking and classification of target, Bayesian theorem provides probability judgment means, the hypothesis examination variables follow probability distribution, these probability and observation data are inferenced in order to make the best decisions, and which can track moving targets which are in the prospects region and the background. The results have shown that the system can be used for indoor tracking of target detection and classification, and can quickly detect, track and make classification of moving targets.
