Abstract :
We propose a modified CMA (constant modulus algorithm) with a generalized GWSSUN channel model for a blind adaptive array in code division multiple access (CDMA) systems. Also, we analyze the AM-PM conversion as a phase statement of desensitization of an LNA (low noise amplifier) on CDMA signals to study the BER performance in the modified CMA. Simulation results of BER performance with DBPSK modulation for a linear array are shown; when the interference is stronger, the radiation patterns are affected by AM-PM conversion, indicating the need for regular calibration.
