Abstract :
Chebyshev polynomial is an important kind of equations of mathematical physics and has been used for the pattern synthesis of antenna array successfully. However, calculation difficulty exists in the calculation of these equations. In this paper, an improved pattern synthesis algorithm based on Chebyshev polynomial is proposed. The proposed algorithm release the difficulty in calculating Chebyshev polynomial. The simulation of the new algorithm is provided and the effectiveness of the new algorithm is verified.
