A b-learning experience in higher education

In this essay, we present an experience held in a subject of Civil Engineering. The activity consists of the students integrating a virtual forum, which makes possible an exchange of ideas between them and the integration of concepts through problematic raised situations. In this way, we aim to perform a collaborative work as well as to develop critical thinking, and at the same time we face the students with work tools that will be useful to them in the future in order to work from distance and to form themselves through their professional life. This optional activity is implemented with distance modality in a virtual work platform. In this essay we explain the developed task, its advantages and disadvantages, the teachers´ evaluation and the students´ opinion.
