  • Abstract
    The paper presents an application design of a steel enterprise energy management system based on Internet of Things. It comprehensively utilizes relative technologies in such fields as network, automation, software and database etc. to collect, analyze and process the entire plant energy data and fulfills such functions as real time monitor, balance prediction analysis and compositive management etc.. Several energy management methods are compared and analyzed; advantages of the energy management system based on internet of Things are summarized. The implementation of the energy management system based on Internet of Things not only improves the steel enterprise´s energy management competence, but also plays a very important role in optimizing energy balance and energy reservation.
