  • Abstract
    Now the traditional one-way transmission services of audio and video can not meet the needs of people, and so the two-way transformation of HFC network has become inevitable with the growth and development of the two-way transmission services of VOD, IPTV and so on. To begin with, the technology of HFC is introduced, and then the technology of EPON and EOC achieving two-way transformation of HFC network is illustrated in the paper. An example of project of two-way transformation of HFC network is also shown by means of the technology EPON and EOC in the paper. Finally, the summary about the technology of EPON and EOC is discussed.
