Abstract
Over the horizon radars, using sea or sky waves, generally use, very high powers. The reasons are because of high losses and large detection distances, but also because of the hostility of the electromagnetic environment. One can decrease the power by using various techniques. One can obviously wonder about the limits that can be hoped for over the next few years. The STUDIO station of the LETTI, that has served as a base for the elaboration of the French OTH radar NOSTRADAMUS, is used to develop processing aimed at reducing the powers of the transmitters of OTH radar using sky waves. Experimental results are presented to support the new principles implemented in STUDIO
