Abstract :
With the increasing drive towards compactness and portability, there is a need for high power density power supplies. This paper presents a power supply suitable for monolithic implementation. A 5 V-10 V boost converter has been designed using 1.2 μm Hewlett-Packard and 0.25 μm SOI MITLL CMOS process technology. Design considerations, simulation and experimental results and layout of the power supply are presented. The power supply meets the design specifications over a reasonable span of input voltage and output load variations
