Abstract :
The capture effect in a spread-spectrum CDMA slotted ALOHA system is considered. The capture probability with both delay and power randomizing factor is derived and compared with other capture models. We evaluate the system performance in terms of the throughput, and clarify the effect of processing gain control on achieve maximum effective throughput
