Speech-based conversation environment for dynamic knowledge interaction

We propose a speech-based conversation environment called Voice Cafe for facilitating dynamic knowledge interaction. Dynamic knowledge interaction is a kind of interaction that makes us creative. Conversation is one of important interactions that facilitates dynamic knowledge interaction. In Voice Cafe, people can have a conversation with conversational agents that can talk with people using synthetic speech. Because conversational agents are equipped with automatic speech recognition (ASR) and text-to-speech (TTS) systems, people can talk with agents, and listen to conversations between agents using speech. Design concepts of the conversation and an overview of Voice Cafe are described
