Abstract :
This paper describes code acquisition design parameters of the DS-CDMA receiver in the IMT-2000 system. There are some parameters for code acquisition design, such as searching window size, integration length and threshold value etc.. These parameters affect the performance of code acquisition for hardware implementation. The effects of design parameters are simulated, so the comparisons are made in the AWGN and Rayleigh fading channel environment. The results presented the relationship between design parameters and the detection performance. Not only the channel environment but also these design parameters affect the code acquisition performance
