Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new dynamic channel allocation (DCA) scheme, dedicated priority function SEG, for a TD-CDMA cellular system. In the scheme, each base station has a separate priority function for the uplink and downlink of each different data rate service and allocates a channel according to the channel priority. Using the proposed scheme, radio resources can be assigned based on the inter-cell interference and the required channel quality of each data rate. In addition, the number of time slots for uplink and downlink can be assigned adaptively under asymmetric traffic conditions. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme has better performance compared with some other conventional DCA schemes
