Abstract
Voice over IP communications QoS is a matter of packet loss and packet timing jitter. In order to determine the maximum number of VoIP conversations that an IEEE 802.11 type WLAN can support, a hardware fitted simulation model was developed. It was found that such a network could support between three and twelve users, depending on packet size
