Abstract :
We consider the problem of joint decoding and channel estimation for space-time trellis codes transmitted over flat slowly varying Rayleigh fading channels. We assume that the receiver has no a-priori knowledge of the channel parameters. The amount of training data required is reduced by using a decision feedback approach to iteratively improve the channel estimates
