Abstract
The Terminal Convective Weather Forecast (TCWF) is a prototype weather display product which graphically depicts 30 and 60-minute forecasts of convective growth and decay for the terminal area. The TCWF was developed by MIT/Lincoln Laboratories under Federal Aviation Weather Research Program (AWRP) sponsorship. During the 1999 convective weather season (June through October), the TCWF was demonstrated at a number of Air Traffic Control facilities. The 1999 Demonstration collected user feedback regarding the utility, usability, and task benefit of TCWF in order to effect improvements to the TCWF forecast and display. For the year 2000 convective season, the TCWF will be demonstrated at Memphis International Airport (MEM) TRACON and Memphis ARTCC in each facility´s respective Traffic Management Unit (TMU). Participants will include TMCs and Supervisors
