Abstract :
We present a new way to store and activate applications and documents in a wearable computer. The metaphor behind this idea is a conventional pocket. In real life we use pockets to store different objects we carry around with us. Virtual Pockets metaphor behaves exactly like its real-world counterpart, allowing us to carry virtual objects in our clothes, to take them out when needed, and to put them back after usage. Virtual Pockets is a natural and intuitive metaphor that supports the context and using environment of a wearable computer.
