            Abstract :
In planning a fixed/mobile cellular communication system initial cell-site positioning should be considered carefully. In practice co-channel and adjacent channel interference not only depend on frequency allocation and transmitting power but also on cell-site location. This paper introduces a linear regression of coverage border method for optimum cell-site positioning. The mathematical model provides true location and the designer can compare his knowledge-based approach with the model for better precision
