Abstract
A novel model for multiplexing the audio, video and data in an H.323 multimedia conference system has been developed to improve the traffic QoS. By theoretical and simulation analysis, an analytical formula for cycle time, return time, the number of cells in buffer and delay time has been obtained and the impact of K2 and λ2 on cycle time, return time and delay time has been investigated. It shows that this new model can satisfy the delay and synchronization requirement
